Choice of thread and beads Sulky 30 weight with Metallic is
good. Another is #80 DMC solid or variegated Green with
beads of approx. 1/16”. The hole in the bead should accommodate a #12 or #14
crochet hook. Japanese seed beads work well. They have a
larger hole than some others. Standard abbreviations used.
Special ones noted.
LPPR last picot previous ring. Lp long picot. + join. B+
bead join. - Join with bead as follows: lace 1 bead onto crochet
hook, pull up long picot through bead then join as usual, or for
chain bead join -Thread bead on crochet hook draw up thread through base of
ring or chain join, slide bead down loop pull thread up until loop is
large enough to pass shuttle like normal, snug thread.

R 5 Lp 5 P5 Lp 5 CLR RW
*Ch 10 RW. R 5B+LPPR 5 p 5 Lp 5 Cl R RW * 8 times
Ch 10 RW Ring 5 B+LPPR 5 P 5 B+ 1st P of 1st ring 5 CLR. Chain 10 join
to base of first ring. This completes and closes first round. Do not
cut thread continue to next round.
2nd Rd
*Ch 15 join to base of next ring * 10 times Do not cut continue to
next round
3rd Rd
*Ch 18 join at base of next Ch* 10 times Do not cut thread,
4th Rd
*Ch 6 , R 4 p 4 p 4 Lp 4 CLR RW Ch 4 RW
R 4 B+ LPPR 4 p 4 p 4 CLR do not reverse work
Ch 6 B+ at base of next chain join.* 10 times
When last round is complete. cut tails about 5 inches tie off and then over
hand tie at ends to form a hanger., enjoy. You may make a copy for yourself
